Radio Central is starting a new Radio Active Award program. The program is designed to encourage club members to turn their rigs on and start making some QSO’s. To qualify for the award club members would bring proof of:

•  20 QSOs during the month of a general meeting, or during the one month prior to the general meeting.

• 50 QSOs  for the quarter (January-March, April-June, July-September, October-December)

Qualifying contacts can be in any mode, any band, from home or mobile, excluding field day or other contest weekends. Acceptable proof can be a hand written or computer generated printout from your logbook, QSL cards that fulfill ARRL requirements for their awards, or on-screen computer display if you bring your own laptop to the meeting.

Two board members will review award submissions during each general meeting. If the contacts meet the qualifications, you will be presented with the Radio Active Award certificate at the meeting.
